It seems for the last few weeks my heart and mind has been routinely visiting the thought of evangelism. How can I be more effective in today’s times by using the gifts and talents that God has given me. I have had a very rewarding summer with family and friends. I have been blessed to attend a spiritual retreat hosted and taught by this spiritual website that I am a daily part of. Also, attending Wednesday Bible Studies at my local church with my family. As well as a summer camp meeting with morning and night services for almost a week. We even had the opportunity at both the retreat and camp to enjoy sharing meals in fellowship time. How blessed I have been. But, the question still lingers in my mind, ‘how can I improve my skill of blessing others with spiritual food?

The oil leak in the Gulf of Mexico has the world buzzing on how to plug the leak. And, rightly so.

Some of us may be leaking from our inner man in much the same way. Our mouth is spouting out all kinds of harmful gases and showing just how defected our hearts and minds are. We have put our pipe line minds down deep in the oil wells of the heart and busy pumping out through our mouths for all its worth. The oil from the leak in the Gulf of Mexico has wrecked havoc on water, land and mammal. And, out mouths are havocking out humankind.

Our 2010 Daily Lily Retreat, Designs of One’s Heart, was an amazing experience. Sara did a beautiful job teaching, showing and instructing her Lilies how to design their hearts. We all worked very hard each day to grasp what Sara was teaching. Needles did a beautiful job instructing us about how the human heart works. Debi and MG were amazing playing their guitar and piano. Rena was amazing. She fixed the toilet, the lawnmower and she prayed a powerful prayer over me using her beautiful intercessory gift. Each lily played a vital role in this life changing retreat. Each lily opened their minds and hearts to the Holy Spirit and amazing knowledge and wisdom fell from their lips. The fragrance of the words brought joy to my mind, heart and spirit. One particular day of our retreat, Sara spoke to us about the Garden of Renown. For homework we were to write about our Garden’s. As I was studying this homework assignment, the Lord placed something on my heart that I would like to share…
