The Edge of Morning

Shadows sleep in silence; Trees bow their heads; Breezes slide through darkness; Stars whisper in cloudy beds; Waters ripple quietly; Vast Oceans to tiny streams; Mountains stand attention; Clouds move slowly, making dreams; Tiny blades of grass are born; Caressed by beads of dew; Awaiting morning sunlight; Enhanced by skies of blue; Rosebuds in infancy smile

PASS THE TORCH FOR JESUS SAKE

After reading about how God lit the fire that burned the sacrifice in the tabernacle and making the connection that is like Jesus lighting the fire within us to really know Him.
Like the sacrifice on the alter long ago the priest had to keep the fire going and so do we. Jesus was the sacrifice for our sins. Do we maintain passions fire for Jesus?
If we do then we will be the torch in this dark world for Jesus’ SAKE! This is a response to reading Beth Moore study -
THE HEART OF A WOMAN.

Mama’s Christmas Table

He pressed his tiny cherub face
Against his mother’s table lace.
On tippy toe so he could see
Then clapped his hands in childish glee.

For there upon the table spread
Were golden loaves of homemade bread,
And mounds of mashed potatoes high
And mama’s homemade apple pie.
